Cosmelan^®

Cosmelan^® has become the product of choice for melasma and especially for sensitive skin types prone to hyperpigmentation from sun exposure, heat or blemishes. Cosmelan^® works by blocking the action of tyrosinase, a basic enzyme in the melanin formation process, thereby preventing the formation of hyperpigmentation and dissolving existing brown spots. Cosmelan^® is a two part treatment product. The initial treatment is an in-office procedure with the application of the Cosmelan^® cream mask. This mask stays in place for 4 to 8 hours depending on your skin type. The second part of the treatment is applied at home to further erode the hyperpigmentation and lock in the results.
